On July 10, a significant meeting is set to occur in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, between Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, and Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia. This gathering is part of the ongoing efforts to foster peace between the two nations.
Recent Diplomatic Engagements
The last encounter between the Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders took place on May 16 in Tirana, where they engaged in discussions during the 6th summit of the European Political Community. This prior meeting highlighted the commitment of both sides to address their longstanding issues.
Armenian Prime Minister’s Visit to UAE
Reports from Armenian news outlets indicate that Pashinyan is traveling to the UAE today for a working visit. In addition to his meeting with Aliyev, he is also expected to have discussions with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, later in the day.
