The airdrop recognized more than 52,000 active Watcher Node operators who consistently launched their nodes at least five times a day between July 1 and July 8, 2025. Remarkably, DeNet opted not to announce the airdrop beforehand, turning it into a delightful surprise for the most dedicated users who play a crucial role in maintaining data availability through ongoing file verification.

Previous Mini-Drops and Future Plans

This significant distribution follows three smaller airdrops that occurred prior to the Token Generation Event (TGE). The $1.25 million airdrop represents DeNet’s largest distribution effort to date, showcasing the project’s expansion and dedication to its community.
